Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Programs

About Our CSA Programs

Clear Brook Farm has been conducting  Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Programs for 16 seasons. Our three unique programs help support our effort to provide healthy organic produce for our local community. While our Summer, Winter and Deep Winter CSA programs look very different, they are all great opportunities to help support our farm and your community. Learn more about each unique program below!

Summer CSA Information

***Offered Yearly. Sign ups start in late January.

While most CSA's give you a pre-selected box of produce once a week (similar to our Winter CSA), our Summer Share program is a "free choice" share which allows you the freedom and flexibility to visit our farm stand any time you choose, and purchase anything we sell at the farm stand during the season, be it plants, Clear Brook Farm organic produce, local cheese, baked goods, fruit, syrup, or anything else you choose. Plus, you never need to worry about being away on vacation and missing a pick-up! We will have a "gift card" at the counter with your name and balance on it, and every time you make a purchase it will be deducted from your balance. By pre-purchasing a summer share, you help Clear Brook Farm with spring startup costs including, seed, labor, fuel, and soils. In appreciation for your support of our farm by purchasing a CSA share, the value of your purchase will be more than just the monetary value that you have paid. Depending on the size share you purchase and your signup date, you will earn extra monetary credit on your card and will entitled to either 2 quarts (small share) or 4 quarts (large share) of free strawberries (Free strawberries not offered every year).

All CSA members who sign up by April 1, will qualify for free strawberries in addition to extra credit on your CSA card.

  • Large Share  Pay By March 10 Your Cost $450 Starting Credit $475 + free 4 quarts of strawberries Pay by April 1, Your Cost $450 Starting Credit $460 + 4 free quarts of strawberries

A Half Pint share, for example, could contain: potatoes, spinach, carrots, and shallots. A Small Share: potatoes, spinach, kale, carrots, beets, butternut squash, shallots. The Large (family) Share: potatoes,  spinach, carrots, kale, beets, lettuce, brussel sprouts, braising mix, shallots, butternut squash.  You can choose to pick up your weekly share at one of the below locations:

  • Weekly emails are sent out with the week's veggie list, plus recipes and general info, so you stay connected to what is going on around the farm.
  • We offer weekly add-ons such as bread, meats, and dairy for online pre-purchases. More details as we get closer/when you sign up.
