Fall/Winter Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program: Taking sign-ups now!!
2026 will be Clear Brook Farm's twenty-first season offering shares in our Fall/Winter Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Our Fall/Winter CSA offers 11 shares in 10 weekly pick-ups.
Unlike our summer program, our winter CSA follows a more traditional CSA model where members receive a pre-selected assortment of vegetables every week.
We also will have our online store open every week to purchase add-on items such as bread, cheese, local meats, dairy and more! Scroll down for pick up times, locations and other details!!
The first 2026 Fall/Winter CSA pick ups are:
- Thursday, October 8th
- Saturday, October 10th

CSA Share Sizes
We offer three different share sizes to choose from:
Large Share: $525
Large Share example: potatoes, spinach, carrots, kale, beets, lettuce, Brussels sprouts, braising mix, shallots
and butternut squash.
Small Share: $420
Small Share example: Potatoes, spinach, kale, carrots, beets, butternut squash, shallots.
Half Pint Share: $300
Half Pint Share example: potatoes, spinach, carrots, shallots.
CSA Pick Up Locations
We offer three different locations for you to pick up your CSA share. Depending on the day (Thursday or Saturday) there are multiple locations/times you can choose from:
Clear Brook Farm | Shaftsbury, Vermont
Thursdays: 3:00-5:30pm
Saturdays: 10:00am-12:00pm
Battenkill Bookstore | Cambridge, New York
Thursdays: 3:00-5:30pm
First Congregational Church | Manchester, Vermont
Saturday's: 10-12
This Years Vegetables
For this years Winter CSA we have planted: broccoli, cauliflower, fennel, brussel sprouts, celery, collards, kale, bok choi, napa cabbage, green and red cabbage, potatoes, sweet potatoes, garlic, leeks, shallots, escarole, onions, spinach, arugula, lettuce, swiss chard, beets, carrots, parsnips, rutabagas, storage radishes, daikon, colored peppers (weather permitting), winter squash, cilantro, kohlrabi, parsley and more!
Important Notes
- Weekly emails are sent out with the week's veggie list, plus recipes and general info so you stay connected to what is going on around the farm.
- If you plan on missing a pick-up, please let us know by the Tuesday of that week so we can pack shares accordingly.
- We will offer weekly "add-ons" such as bread, meats, and dairy for online pre-purchases via our online web store. More details as we get closer.
