2021 will be our 27th season growing bedding plants, certified organic vegetables and fruits. At the height of mid-season, we employ 25 folks either as full and or part time employees. About 5 people work close to year-round. The farm cultivates about 45 acres of land 25 of which are in veggies and small fruits every year. The rest is in cover crops and straw. Our produce is certified organic by Vermont Organic Farmers Association (VOF). We believe that eating as much local food as possible is great, but we also believe that local and certified organic produce is the best choice consumers can make for themselves and their families. We also believe that in general choosing local, certified organic food is supporting some of the most sustainable agricultural practices out there.
